Improv Academies – Spring 2026

Surfside Players continues its semester Improv class! This class provides a basic introduction to improvisational comedy as a tool to help performers become better at their craft, while providing them with new tools to call upon when they are on stage.

Open to adults of all ages, and students in high school or older.

Improv Academy 1: Introductory

Mondays, 7 – 9:30 pm – Begins January 19th – February 9th

Adults: $50
Students (13-17): $35

This is an abrevaited session and does not include a showcase performance.

This class provides a basic introduction to improvisational comedy as a tool to help performers become better at their craft, while providing new tools to call upon when they are on stage.

Improv Academy 2: Intermediate

Thursdays, 7 – 9:30 pm – January 22nd – March 26th

Adults: $100
Students (13-17): $50

This class is for the student who has taken two or more improv classes. Sessions will focus on higher level improv techniques and skills.
